Everyone enjoyed the quiz last night. Scores were very high proving those long hours on FIFA have been worthwhile.
From club badges to players to stadium capacity this was a fantastic evening put together by Mr Pool and Mr Winnett.
Well done Joey, Myles, Tom and Tyler.
After working hard all week in their training sessions the School football put together their best performance of the year to beat Bolton School 4-2. In a very competitive game the boys should great character and effort to appply the ideas they have been working on at CFA. A big thank you to Mr Chilton and Bolton School for a fantastic afternoon of football.
This mornings training session at the CFA was all about the preparation for this afternoons game at Bolton School. The coaches spent most of the session developing the players ability to move defence through to attack with patience and shape, as well high intensity defending trying to win back the ball when lost.

Max and Mr Brewer are feeling very happy as they get a chance to visit the Etihad stadium and see behind the scenes of their favourite team.
During the tour of the Etihad Stafium the players got a chance to visit the first team changing room. The players were asked to choose which player they thought they played like. Hoping that Angus can play against Bolton School like his choice

The northern rain has shrunk poor Joe
Everyone settling down for the city Barcelona game. Don't think Mr Brewer will last the night
After a promising first half the second was a very different affair. Once the changes began Rookwood found it very difficult to contain the very slick passing and movement of Altrincham School. Although the boys played very well the found it very difficult cgi ult to keep up with the speed and movement of the other school. Rookwood 1 Altrincham School 10
Tricky half. After a good 25 minutes we concede 2 late goal. Half time 1-3
